Returns & Exchanges

This policy applies to The Ecobin standard product range. In addition to your Statutory Rights, should you change your mind we will happily exchange or refund providing the following conditions have been met:

1.    The items with the original receipt are returned within 14 days of purchase.
2.    Items must be in original condition as purchased.  Condition of goods must be as new.

Refund

For a refund, please include the invoice you received with your parcel and indicate the reason for return. Goods must be returned within 14 days unused and unwashed and with in new condition. We will credit your original method of payment, excluding delivery (unless goods are faulty or not as ordered) or hold a credit against future purchases.

 

Exchanges

There is a $20.00 return fee for all exchanges, therefore if you would like to exchange either size or colour, please follow the same instructions as above indicating your requirements and include $20.00 for Australia or email us re international delivery. Space to record your credit card details is provided on the bottom of your on-line receipt. Please note that exchanges are subject to availability of goods, therefore please list alternative item/s in case we have sold out of your first choice.

Feel free to re-use our packing material providing it is in good order. Make sure your name, (as well as company name if applicable) address, phone number and instructions are included. Comments would be appreciated.  All goods returned must arrive in as new condition.
Backorders

Items that are not currently available will be placed on backorder and will be shipped at a later date. Your credit card will be authorised on the date your order is placed but you will not be charged until the item is shipped. We will provide you with an approximate ship date for your item(s) but please note these dates are subject to change. You will receive an email notification if this date changes.
Missing parcels

Unless you have specifically arranged with us express delivery, normal delivery process applies: if your delivery has not been received by the maximum time to arrive, please Contact Us. For prompt attention to your query, please mention that you bought the goods from our online store and have your order number ready.

Important Information 

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (eg: Strikes, floods etc.). All colours of products are reproduced as accurately as possible, however a slight variation may occur in colour. Colours may appear slightly different via this web site due to computer picture resolution and individual monitor settings. Offers are available until stocks sell out.
We Reserve the Right:

  • to cancel any order, at which time we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the details provided. We will refund all monies paid using the original method received.
  • that all orders are subject to availability of stock
  • to take reasonable steps to verify that the order and credit details are bona fide

Easy Returns and Exchanges 

Returns by chosen courier and/or transport company

It’s easier than you think. Follow these simple steps to return your purchase:

1.    Photocopy your invoice for your records.

2.    Circle the item(s) that you’re returning and note the quantity and reason(s) for return on your invoice.

3.    Pack your return securely, in the original package if possible, and include your completed invoice.

4.    Print out a label to stick onto the package.

5.    Affix your return shipping label to the packaging. Make sure no other tracking labels are shown.

6.    Call the transport company to arrange collection.

Please check the return address before sending as our warehouse address may change. Pease do not send returns to our head office in Malvern East. :

Exchanges by mail

Return your purchase using our easy return process (within 14 days of your order date). Order your new merchandise at the same time by calling 1300 669441.       We will bill your credit card for the new merchandise and process your credit for returned merchandise as soon as we receive it.

Please note that exchanges do not apply to:

International Returns

We cannot offer merchandise exchanges on orders shipped internationally. If you need to exchange an item, please return the item and place a new order for your desired product.
International orders must include a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) form. Please email [email protected] to request this form. By return email our customer service personnel will reply with an attached RMA form.

Refunds for international orders include applicable duties, taxes and tariffs when sent with the Return Merchandise Authorisation form to Ecobin (Aust) Pty Ltd. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your original domestic and international shipping charges. Returns sent without the Return Merchandise Authorisation form may not be accepted.  Ecobin (Aust) Pty Ltd. will credit your account upon receipt of the merchandise at our facility. We cannot offer free returns on international orders. (Should you wish to call from outside Australia, please call +61395713366)

Return Policy

The Ecobin Online Shop is committed to providing 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase and wish to return an item within 14 days of receipt, the shipping costs for incorrectly shipped items will be paid by Ecobin Online Shop. Goods which are supplied correctly may be returned within a 14 day period for exchange or refund. Shipping costs for correctly shipped items will be met by the customer. For your convenience, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund balance.

To receive a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number please email [email protected] so as to make a request for a number.  All returns must have an authorisation number written on the outside of the box in order to be processed. Returns without an authorisation number will be returned to sender.

For the fastest service, call Customer Service on 1300 669441  (outside Australia, please call +61395713366)  to request a Quick Exchange.  We’ll place an order for your new item right away, and usually ship it the next day unless it is out of stock and therefore is placed on back order. We’ll need to charge you the purchase price, and  the shipping and handling charge for the new item. Once we receive your return, we’ll credit you for the cost of the original item.

Merchandise must be unused and in the original packaging. We’ll also accept the return of incorrect or defective merchandise that meets the guidelines below.

Condition of return:. Returns will not be accepted if item exhibits any obvious signs of wear or is not in the condition in which it was received. All original packaging and any other materials in the original shipment must be returned with your merchandise.

Defective Merchandise: Includes any item that is in new condition and is in the original packaging (if any). Returns will not be accepted if item exhibits any obvious signs of use or is not in the condition in which it was received. Once your return is received and inspected(usually within 72 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-14 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
