Terms of Use
Your use of the Sites constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Agreement. We reserve the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review the Agreement whenever you use any of the Sites. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Sites.

Site Transactions

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.

Delivery Policy

Once we have debited your card, all ordered items in stock will be despatched within 5 working days, unless advised in writing by the customer for a preferred later delivery date. You will be advised if goods are not in stock and these will be placed on back order and delivered at a later date.

Right to Change Sites

We reserve the right, at any time in our sole discretion, to: modify, suspend or discontinue the Sites or any service, content, feature or product offered through the Sites, with or without notice; charge fees in connection with the use of the Sites; modify and/or waive any fees charged in connection with the Sites; and/or offer opportunities to some or all users of the Sites. You agree that we shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Site, or any service, content, feature or product offered through the Sites.

Unless otherwise noted, the Sites, and all materials on the Sites, including text, images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, video clips and other materials, and the copyrights, trademarks, trade dress and/or other intellectual property in such materials (collectively, the “Contents”), are owned, controlled or licensed by Ecobin (Aust) Pty Ltd and other trademarks appearing on the Sites are the trademarks of Ecobin (Aust) Pty Ltd.

The Sites and the Contents are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may download or copy the Contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the Sites for your personal use only. No right, title or interest in any downloaded Content is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying. You may not reproduce (except as noted above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or exploit in any way any of the Contents or the Sites.

Unless otherwise specified, the Sites and the Contents are intended to promote Ecobin products and services available in the Australia.  The Sites are controlled and operated by Ecobin. from its offices in Malvern East, Melbourne, Victoria.
User Comments, Feedback, and Other Submissions

Ecobin is pleased to hear from users and welcomes your comments regarding our products and services. Ecobin’s longstanding company policy does not allow us to accept or to consider creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials other than those we have specifically requested. We hope that you will understand that the intent of this policy is to avoid the possibility of future misunderstandings when projects developed by Ecobin employees and agents might seem to be similar to creative works submitted by users. Accordingly, while we value your feedback, we must ask that you do not send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials for our business. If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without out a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, “Comments”), you agree that Ecobin may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate, and otherwise use in any medium any Comments that you forward to Ecobin is and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any Comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any Comments; or (3) to respond to any Comments. Ecobin has the right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any Comments.

You agree that your Comments will not violate any right of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your Comments will not contain unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Sites. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

Occasionally there may be information on our Sites that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the Sites is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear at the Sites. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

Links to Other Web Sites and Services

The Sites may contain links to other Web sites that are not under the control of Ecobin. Ecobin has no responsibility for the linked Web sites nor does linking constitute an endorsement of any linked Web site. Links are provided solely for the convenience and information of the Sites’ users.


The materials on the Sites are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of title, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement of intellectual property. Ecobin expressly disclaims any duty to update or revise the materials on the Sites, Ecobin may modify the materials at any time without notice. Return Policy

The Ecobin Online Shop is committed to providing 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase and wish to return an item within 14 days of receipt, the shipping costs for incorrectly shipped items will be paid by Ecobin Online Shop. Goods which are supplied correctly may be returned within a 14 day period for exchange or refund. Shipping costs for correctly shipped items will be met by the customer. For your convenience, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund balance.

To receive a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number please email sales@ecobin.com.au  so as to make a request for a number.  All returns must have an authorisation number written on the outside of the box in order to be processed. Returns without an authorisation number will be returned to sender.

For the fastest service, call Customer Service on 1300 669441  (outside Australia, please call +61395713366)  to request a Quick Exchange.  We’ll place an order for your new item right away, and usually ship it the next day unless it is out of stock and therefore is placed on back order. We’ll need to charge you the purchase price, and  the shipping and handling charge for the new item. Once we receive your return, we’ll credit you for the cost of the original item.

Merchandise must be unused and in the original packaging. We’ll also accept the return of incorrect or defective merchandise that meets the guidelines below.

Condition of return:. Returns will not be accepted if item exhibits any obvious signs of wear or is not in the condition in which it was received. All original packaging and any other materials in the original shipment must be returned with your merchandise.

This policy applies to Ecobins standard product range. In addition to your Statutory Rights, should you change your mind we will happily exchange or refund providing the following conditions have been met:

1.    The items with the original receipt are returned within 14 days of purchase.
2.    Items must be in original condition as purchased.  Condition of goods must be as new.

For a refund, please include the invoice you received with your parcel and indicate the reason for return. Goods must be returned within 14 days unused and unwashed and with in new condition. We will credit your original method of payment, excluding delivery (unless goods are faulty or not as ordered) or hold a credit against future purchases.

There is a $20.00 return fee for all exchanges, therefore if you would like to exchange either size or colour, please follow the same instructions as above indicating your requirements and include $20.00 for Australia or email us re international delivery. Space to record your credit card details is provided on the bottom of your on-line receipt. Please note that exchanges are subject to availability of goods, therefore please list alternative item/s in case we have sold out of your first choice.

Feel free to re-use our packing material providing it is in good order. Make sure your name, (as well as company name if applicable) address, phone number and instructions are included. Comments would be appreciated.  All goods returned must arrive in as new condition.

Items that are not currently available will be placed on backorder and will be shipped at a later date. Your credit card will be authorised on the date your order is placed but you will not be charged until the item is shipped. We will provide you with an approximate ship date for your item(s) but please note these dates are subject to change. You will receive an email notification if this date changes.
Missing parcels

Unless you have specifically arranged with us express delivery, normal delivery process applies: if your delivery has not been received by the maximum time to arrive, please Contact Us. For prompt attention to your query, please mention that you bought the goods from our online store and have your order number ready.

Important Information 

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (eg: Strikes, floods etc.). All colours of products are reproduced as accurately as possible, however a slight variation may occur in colour. Colours may appear slightly different via this web site due to computer picture resolution and individual monitor settings. Offers are available until stocks sell out.
We Reserve the Right:

  • to cancel any order, at which time we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the details provided. We will refund all monies paid using the original method received.
  • that all orders are subject to availability of stock
  • to take reasonable steps to verify that the order and credit details are bona fide

Easy Returns and Exchanges 

Returns by chosen courier and/or transport company

It’s easier than you think. Follow these simple steps to return your purchase:

1.    Photocopy your invoice for your records.

2.    Circle the item(s) that you’re returning and note the quantity and reason(s) for return on your invoice.

3.    Pack your return securely, in the original package if possible, and include your completed invoice.

4.    Print out a label to stick onto the package.

5.    Affix your return shipping label to the packaging. Make sure no other tracking labels are shown.

6.    Call the transport company to arrange collection.

Exchanges by mail

Return your purchase using our easy return process (within 14 days of your order date). Order your new merchandise at the same time by calling 1300 669441.       We will bill your credit card for the new merchandise and process your credit for returned merchandise as soon as we receive it.

Please note that exchanges do not apply to:

1.    Wheelie bins are excluded
2.    Customised print or physical design for ecobins are also excluded
3.    Enclosures or Steel Bins excluded

International Returns

We cannot offer merchandise exchanges on orders shipped internationally. If you need to exchange an item, please return the item and place a new order for your desired product.
International orders must include a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) form. Please email sales@ecobin.com.au to request this form. By return email our customer service personnel will reply with an attached RMA form.

Refunds for international orders include applicable duties, taxes and tariffs when sent with the Return Merchandise Authorisation form to Ecobin (Aust) Pty Ltd. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your original domestic and international shipping charges. Returns sent without the Return Merchandise Authorisation form may not be accepted.  Ecobin (Aust) Pty Ltd. will credit your account upon receipt of the merchandise at our facility. We cannot offer free returns on international orders. (Should you wish to call from outside Australia, please call +61395713366)
