Can I clean them?

Yep. Polypropylene is water and chemical resistant, so they handle the kind of cleaning a commercial kitchen demands. A wipe down, a spray, a hose if you need to. They won’t warp, stain or hold onto grease.

Are they odour proof?

The flip bins have a self-closing lid that does a solid job of keeping smells contained, which matters when you’re dealing with food waste in a warm kitchen. The open-top bins don’t have lids, so we’d recommend pairing those with compostable liners and emptying them at the end of each service.

How long do they last?

Our bins are made from polypropylene, which is the same material family used in commercial food containers and lab equipment. Our bins will bend when they need to, but they won’t break. In a hospitality setting where bins see heavy use, these will remain reliable for years to come.
