Standard Ecobins

It’s not uncommon for these bins to last up to 10 years. The bins are made from polypropylene (from the same family as lab equipment and reusable food containers), which gives them the ideal characteristics for durability. They’re flexible and can be bent like cardboard, but they’re durable like plastic. Plus, the reinforced handles on our 60L models are designed for repeated lifting and won’t fray or degrade over time.

Our bins arrive at your door flat-packed, and can be put together in minutes (more like A minute) without the need for any tools. Simply pick them up, fold in the base, fold up the lid, and hey presto, you’re good to go!

Our bins are fully recyclable at the end of their long life. As they are made from polypropylene (recycling code #5), they are widely accepted in kerbside recycling bins or at recycling centres. And if you’re in Victoria, you can even send them back to us, and we’ll recycle them for you!

Sure do. We ship right across Australia. Standard orders are dispatched quickly and most products arrive flat-packed, which keeps shipping costs down. For large or bulk orders, get in touch and we’ll sort out the best delivery option for you.

Absolutely. We work with schools, councils, hospitals, offices and venues of all sizes – many of whom need bulk quantities. Bigger orders mean better pricing, and we can help you plan the right setup for your space. Reach out to our team at trashtalk@ecobin.com.au and we’ll put a quote together.

Our bins are made from polypropylene and HDPE, both widely recyclable plastics. When they finally reach the end of their (long) life, they can be recycled rather than sent to landfill. A recycling bin that can be recycled. Seems logical, right?
